The Mancos workforce housing unit is now accepting applications. An amazing place a couple blocks from Downtown Mancos. Short 5 minute walk to Mancos’ schools and the Mancos River. Enjoy the ease of living where you work and have a short commute.
The unit is part of a duplex. Only 1 unit is available for rent at this time and you must have a minimum occupancy of 3 people. Cats are negotiable with an additional deposit and case by case basis. This housing is only available for people working within Mancos Conservation District jurisdictional boundaries (see map below). Move in ready.

Rent is based on annual income, number of occupants, and number of bedrooms for Montezuma County
No pets
Smoke free, drug free housing
Required Documents (can be scanned at our office) :
Last four weeks of consecutive paystubs for all occupants over 18
2022 & 2023 tax returns
Bank statements for the previous 4 months
Most recent statement of income received
Scanned copy of Birth Certificate, CIB, or passport for all occupants
Scanned social security cards for Head of Household and Co-Applicants
If you don't have a SS card, alternative acceptable documents include Native American Tribal documents, US Citizen ID Card, ID Card for use of Resident, Citizen in the US documentation, Passport, or Work Authorization documentation .
Scanned valid IDs for everyone 18 years of age or older on the application.

Eligibility
Eligibility for the housing unit is dependent upon the following factors:
The Head of Household must complete the application and all other necessary forms for all members of the household.
Proper submission of all required documents at time of eligibility: Photo IDs, Birth Certificates, and Social Security cards (If you don't have a SS card, alternative acceptable documents include Native American Tribal documents, US Citizen ID Card, ID Card for use of Resident, Citizen in the US documentation, Passport, or Work Authorization documentation)
Head of Household and Co-applicants must pass a criminal background check – applicants must not have engaged in any felony, violent or drug related criminal activity in the last five years and/or misdemeanor, violent or drug related criminal activity in the last three years.
If Head of Household, or a member of an applicant’s household, is subject to a Registrant requirement under a state sex offender registration program, they are NOT eligible for the unit.
The Head of Household must be over the age of 18.
Head of Household must work within Mancos Conservation District jurisdictional boundaries (see map) and be able to provide proof of employment.
Minimum of 3 occupants and cannot exceed 8 occupants.
You are responsible for the cost of background checks for all occupants over the age of 18.
