The Mancos Conservation District (MCD) is currently accepting proposals to support the creation of a Wildfire Ready Action Plan (WRAP) as defined by the Colorado Water Conservation Board’s Wildfire Ready Watersheds program. This Plan for the Mancos River Watershed will serve a vital role in identifying mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of wildfire on the watershed before wildfires occur.
