The Mancos Conservation District's Annual Meeting of the Landowners will be held on Saturday, April 13th, 2024  from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Mancos Community Center, 130 Grand Avenue, Mancos. Northern Water's Esther Vincent will be our featured guest speaker. She will present about the challenges and successes of Northern Water's postfire watershed restoration efforts following the 2020 East Troublesome Fire and the need to plan for postfire impacts before fires happen. We will also introduce the District’s staff and Board Members, recognize volunteers, display photo contest submissions, and will announce the MCD’s annual photo contest winners.  The MCD Board of Supervisors will review proposed changes to the district's bylaws for landowner consideration and possible approval. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Please come and share your ideas, concerns and conservation needs for our area.
